The percutaneous bone screws are used to secure a reference or surgical frame to the patient’s skull. The use of these bone screws guarantees perfect repositioning after several days.

In titanium, MR conditional and radio-opaque, they are delivered sterile for single use only.

Pins

The pins are used to fix a Talairach stereotactic frame to the patient’s skull. They are reserved strictly for this purpose and must only be used in specialist hospitals.

Percutaneous pins

The percutaneous pins can be positioned without having to drill the skull beforehand thanks to their pointed tips. They are made of stainless steel.

Surgical pins

The surgical pins are available in several sizes. Their use depends on the thickness of the patient’s skin and bone. The bone must always be drilled before the surgical pins can be fitted.
